Avantone MixCubes Active
In terms of visual appearance, the Avantones are in my humble opinion unbeatable. The body had a piano black finish, at the back a pink heat sink. XLR combo connector with lock, ground lift and lighted power switch. The big, silver knob levels gain. And the PSU, are the real. I’m not a big fan of those external PSU, so called wall wart. But those here are massive. Real massive. Each speaker is connected with a single screw able to one PSU block. In my eyes enough power for higher level. They are so impressive. It’s too bad, to hide.
The built in amplifier delivers according to specification 60 W continuous powers with a THD 0.005, a real good value. The frequency range is between 90 Hz and 17 kHz. Therefore they aren’t a quaking speaker.

Behringer C50A (Behritone)
The Behringer C50A is a look alike to the Avantone speaker. Some might say “Behritone”. The front view isn’t real different to the Avantone, they don’t differ from one another. Both cases are finished with piano black and the measurements are similar. However, the Behringer had a deeper case as the Avantone and the knobs and connectors look different and were placed in other sections. The gain knob isn’t that classy as the silver Avantone knob, nether the less he runs smooth and easy with a middle grid position.
On the bottom the “Behritone” comes with a tripod socket and can screw to a microphone stand. In the front a blue LED is placed, it’s rather bright, but it’s ok and doesn’t dazzle your eyes.
