Wow. Der sieht ja wirklich sehr lecker aus. Der lässt sich mit der Matrix viel übersichtlicher bedienen als viele andere modulare Synths, Bei soviel CV-Ins und -Outs kann man auch sein anderes modulares Equipment sinnvoll einbinden.
HUT AB!!! Erstmal ein tolles Konzept.
Beeindruckendes Teil, aber die Jungs nehmen den Mund ganz schön voll. Ich konnte die meisten Fragen aus der Pressemitteilung mit „Gestern“ beantworten :-) Lustig ist auch, dass Patching als „painful“ bezeichnet wird, dann aber doch grosszügige 12 CV In/Outs vorhanden sind… Hoffentlich hat`s diesmal für ein fehlerfreies OS gereicht, das Ding könnte ein echter Hammer werden.
Ich mal auf den Preis gespannt!
Falls unter € 3.000,- so könnte das schöne Teil durch aus viele Käufer finden.
Ich kann’s grad echt nicht fassen. 2015 gut überstanden, aber dieses Jahr könnte mein finanzielles Ende sein ^^….

Naja, Bestellungen kann man stornieren, ich finde den Minilogue trotzdem interessanter.
Der Matrixbrute sieht aber klasse aus, der Rest muss sich erst noch zeigen.
Die Mod-Matrix finde ich genial! Schön, dass die Idee Einzug gefunden hat. Ist bei mir gemeinsam mit dem Waldorf kb37 auf Platz 1. Na mal sehen wie lange noch. :)

Schön aus meiner Sicht ist, dass die Hersteller richtig Gas geben um bei uns G.A.S. zu erzeugen. Wie – ich glaube es war Peter – geschrieben hat, DAS Jahr wird teuer. Naja, die Wirtschaft freut’s.

Die Hardware Hersteller müssen ja auch was tun, die Softwarebrance ist ja nicht im Winterschlaf. Was mir aber bis jetzt gefällt, man hat auf die Käufer etwas gehört und nimmt ihre Anregungen entgegen. Ob der der Markt das dann annimmt ist eine andere Frage. Und ein Highlight ist der Matrixbrute sicher. Konzeptionell ist für mich bis dato Waldorfs KB37 Konzept das cleverste. Customize your Synthesizer, darauf muss man erstmal kommen. Und es ist in 2016 für alle etwas dabei, Von analog bis digital, bis zu modular.
@TobyB Mich hat der Waldorf kb37 aus exakt dem selben Grund begeistert. Vor allem lag die Idee ja seit Jahren quasi auf der Strasse…. So wie ich es sehe, hat Axel da meine beiden bisherigen Favoriten designt.
Aber warten wir einmal den Abend (unserer Zeit) ab. Da kommt noch was…..

@TobyB Eben habe ich die Rückseite des MatrixBrute gesehen – damit hat er den Waldorf kb37, der bis dato ex aequo auf dem ersten Platz der NAMM News war, von eben diesem runtergestossen.
„Der beste Analog-Synthesizer, der je gebaut wurde“ – Na da wäre ich mal auf einen Vergleichstest mit Schmidt und Matrix 12 gespannt ;) nichtsdestotrotz haben auch die Franzosen mein Interesse geweckt. Witzig ist, ich war gestern Abend kurz davor den MiniBrute zu ordern :D
Das ist natürlich immer Geschmacksache. Ich z.B. mag den Matrix-12 überhaupt nicht und ich hatte ihn als er rauskam für einige Jahre. Mir haben OBXa und OB-8 besser gefallen. SCHMIDT ist ein anderes Thema. Auf der anderen Seite ist es halt „Marketing“ und etwas Selbstbewusstsein sei Arturia doch vergönnt. ;)

@TobyB @pmm Zum OB-X würde ich auch nicht „nein“ sagen. Hab ihn aber bisher noch nirgendwo in Echt anfassen dürfen, kenne ihn also nur von dutzenden Demos :) Er scheint auf jeden Fall richtig geile, seidige Hochtöne zu haben und ist trotzdem breit wie ein Sumoringer :) Was den Schmidt betrifft, so steht der auf meine „Wenn ich mal reich bin, kauf ich zwei davon!“ Liste :D
@toby Bis Dezember dachte ich ja noch, ich hätte eine passable Liste zusammengestellt, die ich mir nach und nach auch zusammenkaufen kann. Jetzt kommt wieder so viel geiles Zeug, dass ich wohl einige Position abändern muss. Aber System-1 und Radikal Technologies stehen trotz allem immer noch ganz oben ;)

es fällt mir auch schwer da locker zu bleiben. Ich mein der Markt ist dieses Jahr echt in Bewegung. Und wir haben erstmal nur die „großen“ Hersteller gesehen. Und mein Bauchgefühl sagt mir das es das noch nicht war.
Ist denn schon bekannt, ob man in der Matrix pro Quelle gleich mehrere Modulationsziele wählen kann oder ob „nur“ Punkt-zu-Punkt Verbindungen zulässig sind?
Bin ich der einzige der sich wundert, das er trotz dieser Dimension nicht polyphon ist?
So ein fettesTeil und nur monophon?

Ich denke, dass die Bauqualität besser sein wird als beim Minibrute. Größe und Optik erinnern mich an einen „Moog Minimoog Voyager“, fehlt nur noch das mittige ‚Touche-Pad‘. Aber das Gerät lädt förmlich zum schrauben ein.
hoffe die Arturianer übernehmen sich nicht damit, bigger and brigher hat schon so manchen Hersteller gekillt….

@patchpoint gibt eh schon zu viel … aber das wird sicher kommen, spätestens wenn die Riesendinger nicht laufen, zu spät geliefert werden (siehe minibrute) oder aus Kinderkrankheiten nicht rauskommen.
Nun ist der Preis draussen: 1899 US-$.
Als wir vor Jahren solche Sachen mit dem Monome 256 in Max gemacht haben, da waren wir noch die Streber. Jetzt scheint es cool zu sein, mit einer Matrix steuern und patchen zu können.
Wie auch immer: Das Teil scheint schon Freude zu machen…
Also wofür macht Arturia in der Demo, eigentlich Werbung?…Schlagzeug oder E-Gitarre, für den Synth jedenfalls nicht!

Ohne Zweifel ein Wahnsinnshingucker.
Aber mir persönlich ist der Schritt vom Minibrute und Microbrute zum Matrixbrute zu groß. Mir scheint das Projekt zu ambitioniert. Einen transportablen Maxibrute oder besser noch Polybrute für unter 1.000 Euronen hätte ich mir lieber gewünscht.
@gutzufuss etwas weniger imposant, dafür polyfon, wäre auch mein Wunsch gewesen.
Kann der MaxiBrute paraphon gespielt werden?

@Viertelnote Arturia wird auf seine Fanbase schon gehört haben. Die Modularfraktion koppelt schon fleissig den Microbrute und bekommt hier noch einiges an Konnektivität dazu. Wenn Arturia es richtig gemacht hat haben wir hier einen Supercontroller für Modularsysteme mit Stepsequenzer der über die Matrix direkt ables und editierbar ist. Dazu das Patchfeld an der Rückseite? Das ist mit dem 3OSC-Synth und der Modmatrix schon sehr fett. Da muss man abwarten. Hohe Stückzahlen wird Arturia eh nicht eingeplant haben. Das ist reines Prestige!
Ich bin zwar kein Fan von monophonen Modular Synths, doch der MatrixBrute sieht wirklich extrem gut und hochwertig aus.
Zudem finde ich das Konzept mit der Taster Matrix konzeptionell sehr interessant.
Endlich mal ein Arturia, der nicht der 500€ Tischhupen-Konvention geopfert wurde.
Jetzt fehlt nur noch eine Polyphonie von >= 6 Stimmen, und ich komme ins Schwitzen…..
…jetzt ist er endlich da! Seit gestern Nachmittag steht der Matrix Brute bei mir zu Hause. Hatte zwar nur ne halbe Stunde um den Synthesizer kurz anzutesten, aber ich war schwer beeindruckt. Und schwer ist der auch! Ca.22 Kg!!! Nun habe ich dank Thomann noch 29 Tage zum Testen…
